No..the ending was disappointing, but it worked...how many of us checked to see if our TV's/DVRs, etc were broken??

I'll bet close to 80%. It was a disappointing but dramatic conclusion. Good TV.

Yes I was very disappointed with the finale. After 8 years of never finishing a storyline that is exactly the way it was ended with unanswered questions. I kept waiting for the Russian from the pine barrens to come into the diner and whack Tony.
Big disappointment!!!! This now takes over for Seinfeld as one of the worst series finales ever!

I didn't see it, but i read all about it.
Kind of makes me glad I didn't subscribe to HBO for one show.
I kept up with the last 5 seasons through videos and now the reruns on A&E.
Although I wish they could just cuss instead of filling in with saying "flipping", etc.
With all the shocking moments through the series, it be hard to come up with a knock out ending. And Tony being killed would of been so cliché.
But, I guess all good things come to an end.
And even as a Sopranos fan, I kinda though last season should of been the last.

I'm not really a sopranos watcher but my fiancee is and he was glued to the tv last night. I tried turn it off at 15 minutes after 10 and he flipped out. He just had to see the ending so I'm guessing it was pretty good!

Yeah !!!!!! I wanted my money back !!!!! Well everyone, now we sit back and wait, perhaps for years, for the Movie to come out. Make no mistake, there will be a movie. This show is worth too much money...I bet they've already signed up everyone for sometime down the road to do that. I kinda remember that was the plan when they were gonna conclude the show last time and Chase decided on one more season.

It ended in true David Chase style, he has always done things the way you least expect. At first I was like "What the F**K! Then I thought about how genius it was. The last like five minutes in the diner scene, with the shady characters lingering around, one walks in with AJ, Meadow with parking troubles in the street, The guy that goes in the bathroom, the guy with the hat in the corner booth. It was pure suspense, I almost couldn't stand it. That's what it must be like for Tony 24/7. Then LIGHTS OUT, it could be over like that, like with Phil Leotardo saying good bye to the Grand kids then BAM, its over. And it leaves us all guessing! Very cool in a tortuous sort of way!

yes , I was disappointed in the final episode. Too many unanswered questions. Your left to create your own ending.

Yes and no. Considering the length and success of that series and the inevitable hype of the finale, there was virtually NOTHING they possibly could have done that would have lived up to expectations.

That was the worst ending ever worse than OZ. After watching the show for 8 years, they owed the fans closure.
