How many publications approximately are there together over the world?
Number of publications just in English language would also help.
It is for my thesis on media naming :)

I'd say that the best source for that sort of info would be the Library of Congress. They have a copy of every published book, mag. and newspaper in the world.

There is a media publications newsstand in NYC Times Square that carries over 5000 publications in English alone from around the world.
Consider that this is just a simple global media newsstand. If you found a larger store, I'm sure it would multiply.

why not guess do u think your prof will know the auctual number? I do not think it is that important to know as u are asking it on here!
