What is the No.1 problem in the world today and what is the best solution?

The immediate number one problem is poverty. It is a problem that effects every nation on the planet directly and indirectly at the same time. As for the solution, well, thats a bit more difficult. Organizations such as One and the Clinton Foundation, as well as many others are working to provide people with training and ideas so that they can begin to move out of poverty on their own. It is a step but it is going to require the involvement of major governments and the help of many, many more people around the world.

If you erase worldwide poverty from the equation you have removed the larges recruitment ground for terrorism, and one of the greatest causes for revolution and civil war in the world.
In another few years the single major problem the world will be facing will be the environment. Sadly, the issue of global warming is already exacerbating every other problem the world faces today. Equally sadly many in the world are not ready to face it yet.

The problem that is tearing our world apart are the wars in the Middle East. There is no solution in the Middle East. As long as there are Sunni's, Shiites, and a small Christian population there will be civil unrest. The Sunnis and Shiites are mortal enemies and will continue to try to kill one another until the end of times. I wish there was a solution to make but there isn't. The other scenario is if the governments were not religiously controlled then there would be no discrimination there and the violence would cease. At least for a short while until another religious radical group like Hamas takes over. Bottom line is that the Middle East is and will remain corrupted until the end of the earth.

The number one problem is people complain too much on how the country is run. The solution is quit complaining because most of you couldn't do any better than what is currently being done. I wouldn't want the resposibility because even if I was doing a great job someone would complain and say that they could do better.

Parents don't raise their kids like the same way as they used to. Kids are neglected and they dont play in the playgrounds anymore and they learn to be materialistic at a young age. what ever happen to childhood innocence? then, many grow up to be selfish over-achievers (if you are lucky. some will end up on the wrong side of the law). solution: Let your kids PLAY! it really doesn't matter if they are not scoring 90+ in tests. Parents, don't ruin your kids life by trying to live your life through them!

Abortion and racism. There is still racism and there are still slaved. Abortion is high and they have new "criminal ways of doing it." I believe those are the biggest problems in the world today. I know you said 1 but then it would just be abortion.
