OK, if it's a single paragraph, focus on including the most important information:
- What DNA is: a macromolecule with such and such components, etc.
- Where it is found: in the nucleus of all eukaryotic cells and in the cytoplasm of prokaryotic cells.
- Its function: codification of proteins, essential for life processes, etc.
- Its importance: preservation and transmission of genetic information, etc.

Write a little bit about these major points.

As others have answered, you will find the data you need in any college-level Biology textbook. Books are better than websites as sources, because the information on the web may be wrong, or simply change or disappear from one day to the next. Anyway, here's a nice introductory site:

1. Structure: double helix
2. Bond types: hydrogen (bases on opposite strands) and phosphate bonds (outer backbone)
3. Components: the four bases (A, T, C, G); the sugar (deoxyribose); the phosphate group
4. Pairing: A/T and G/C
5. Why it's used as genetic material: stable, self-replicating, faithful replication (to avoid mutations, errors, etc)
6. Where it's found in different cell types
7. Chromatin: association of the double helix with proteins
8. How DNA is involved with evolution: mutations are the ultimate source of new variation; natural selection acts on such variation
9. How we use DNA nowadays: genetic research; gene therapy; paternal tests; court cases, etc

The building blocks of DNA is called nucleotides. One nucleotide unit compromises a phosphate group, a pentose sugar and a nitrogenous base. RNA is the copy/messenger of DNA. DNA is made up of protein and it exist as a double-helix structure. Hope that helps! Good luck in finding more important points for your question from others!

Go to the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory website that has a DNA "primer" - its excellent.

community individuals at the instant are not East Asians in any respect. there's an inclination between Eurocentric scholars in step with superficial likeness to assimilate community individuals with East Asians. they have a very distinctive DNA. Eurocentric scholars do this plenty; consistent with danger they desire to coach that community individuals at the instant are not so "community" even with each and every thing and that they are descendants of East Asians who crossed the Bering Strait thousands of years in the past. the same Eurocentric scholars do no longer do the same element with Melanesians, papuans or maybe the Olmecs (who seem to have "African advantageous properties"). They on no account ask no rely if Melanesians, papuans or maybe Olmecs are African in step with their advantageous properties. Equating community individuals with East Asians proves that Eurocentric scholars and people who've been brainwashed by technique of them have a racist schedule.
