Your probably feeling a little remorse for splitting up with her. It's usually harder for the person breaking off then for the other person involved. Unless your really feeling guilty about why you split up with her and felt it was for the wrong reasons, you should be feeling back to normal soon. Otherwise you'll always have to deal with the guilt and maybe even the regrets!!!

Takes time. Do something else besides dwell on the pain. Get involved in something you like, or give your time to someone less fortunate. Get rid of all memento's, and move your furniture around. I actually find that changing how a room looks, especially a room you spent alot of time in, will help chase away memories. Move the furniture around, change the sheets and the curtains/blinds. Add something new, like a new scent or music. You don't want her back, so what you are missing is not her but the presence of another human. Get out and spend time with friends. Move on.

Give it 2 weeks - The pain will gradually go away. It is always hard to break up even if you don't want the other person. Because @ some point in your life w/ her, it was exactly what you wanted & you were happy. THAT is why it is hard even when it is OVER.
Try taking up a hobby, exercising, going out, go visit family/friends that you haven’t seen in a while. Go out of town… Keep busy!!!
Good LUCK!!

Your life is only miserable because you're letting it be. Yes it's sad when you end a relationship, but it's up to you to move on. Just be grateful that you weren't married to this person and ended up in divorce court. Concentrate on yourself for a while then you can start dating again. One day you'll find the right person to spend the rest of your life with. She just wasn't the one.

Volunteer. This will help you to see not only the good in other people, but that your life could be worse. You'll meet new friends, and possibly become a better person during the process.

It will. You will get back into your routine or something like it that you had before her. And if you definitely don't want her back, you are already ahead in the game. Give it time. Someone else will catch your eye and you won't feel like this anymore. Just keep yourself and mind busy. It'll be ok.
