Knowledge can more readily be acquired, because it comes with study, but wisdom is another story. Wisdom comes from experience, and often the two work hand in hand. I have personally found most people who have a lot of wisdom, also have tremendous knowledge, though I believe they can work separate of each other. Perhaps this is why they say, "Wisdom comes with age," because a person has lived their life out, and wisdom often cannot be taught out of a book, but it evolves. It is a process that is linked to knowledge, but stands on its own as well. There are a lot of people who have tremendous knowlege, but I would not consider them wise. In order to have wisdom you have to seek it; be open to it. In fact, quite often those who have only acquired knowlege without humility are not wise, but sometimes arrogant. There is a humility that seems to run with wisdom. Knowledge can open the door to wisdom, but the two are quite separate, and as I said... Wisdom comes over time. It is not something you can aquire overnight.

Knowledge is essentially, what you know either its good or bad. Wisdom is knowing the right way to use your knowledge.
Example a President with knowledge would look at unclusive information, then start a war. A wise President would not be so hasty do that, because he knows in war the outcome is always death.

This is not that hard to answer, but i can see why you would want an opinion.
Wisdom is a gift that you are given,its a form of knowlege. If you have the gift of wisdom, you can determine the better choice in a situation easily. Does this make sense?
Knowlegde is something that you must gain on your own time. Something that your teachers have.
If i had to choose between the two, i would choose wisdom, but that's just me...

Knowledge is what we learn from birth up to the day we grow up,which includes everything from the basic as in talking, eating,walking & some complicated task,up to the time we grow up & go to school,then to doing our daily business untill we mature,while wisdom is the way or the system of applying this acquired knowledge in order to deliver what this very knowledge is meant to achieve.

Knowledge is the acquisition of facts, wisdom the wealth of experience. Knowledge can be taught, wisdom must be acquired by living in faith. Knowledge is data, wisdom is an attitude of assurance. Knowledge has to do with right and wrong, wisdom with good and evil. Of the making of many books there is no end, and much study a weariness to the body, but one thing is necessary Love your neighbor and walk humbly with your God, Fear God and keep His commands.
There is an Arabic proverb:
He who knows and knows that he knows is wise, follow him;
He who knows and knows not that he knows is sleeping, wake him;
He who knows not and knows that he knows not is simple, teach him;
He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool, shun him!

Knowledge is something that is learned and must be retained for use at a later time. When we are called to use what we know- much thinking is involved. Wisdom is a knowing without thinking.Wisdom seems to be spontaneous.The wise one seems to be a culmination of learned and experienced knowledge.

Knowledge is what you know, stuff you've learned, been taught or figured out for yourself.
Wisdom is not only using that knowledge but knowing when to use it and how best to use it!
A little Wisdom can often beat a lot of knowledge!

Wisdom is understanding the knowledge you learned. Knowledge can be attained by reading a book but wisdom comes with time.

Just think of knowledge as facts or numbers better put that were obtained through reading a book,.... and wisdom as understanding those numbers to how they apply to creating the universe! THE THOUGHT comes first then your application for that thought is created into something tangible.

Knowledge is the accumulation of information. Wisdom is appropriate processing of that information to create deductions. Knowledge comes first, then if you are lucky and clever wisdom follows over time.
