I love Stadium hot dogs, but when it comes to eating hot dogs at home, I'm repulsed by them. Why do stadium hot dogs taste so good, and how can I recreate that taste at home? What do they do differently at the ballpark?!

The highest rated franks are Hebrew National (Consumer Reports) I also like BallPark Hotdogs (brand)

I BBQ them for best flavor. Toast the bunds, then put on your favorite condiments. They are better then what you get eating out!

I know someone who used to work selling hot dogs at a sports venue, when I asked him about this he told me that first of all: I'd be better off eating a hot dog that I made because the ones they make are so artificial, and so much fat and grease is used in the process which could be why you like the taste better.

It's not the hot dog but the atmosphere. The same hot dog served at home if you made them the same way which is usually boiled would taste different.

For me personally I think it is the 6 beers I had in the parking lot that makes the polish dog taste so much better at the game than at home.
