Have you ever noticed how every culture seems to have their own individual "way" of being, so to speak.....like of course everyone is different, regardless of where they come from, but sometimes they just seem to carry a piece of their culture with them and i find that so interesting.

If you have noticed this, could you give a few examples and say what do you like about that "way" of being?

For example, again this is only generally speaking, but i find that french people seem to have this really passionate sense of life and romance...and you can just see it in that person when you´re talking to them, even if what you´re talking about is a completely different topic.

I find Italians to be really passionate too...about food, love, family, togetherness and hospitality....

=)

Oh my gosh, yeah i know exactly what you mean JC. It really is so interesting to think about how where you grew up can have such an effect on what you find funny. It really is amazing. Thank you so much for your answer, JC. :)

And thank you everyone for your lovely and insightful answers as well. I truly appreciate them. :)

I find it very odd when you look at some different cultures how far behind they are from us.

Like we are sitting here on our computers typing away, surfing the web, grabbing a gatorade or soda or beer from the fridge. Watching a movie at the same time.

Then you go to some place like Somolia or some 3rd world country and there are little girls carrying jugs of water on their head so their family can have something to drink for the day, and working their *** off just to stay alive. Smashing potatoes or wutever they eat with a peice of rock they found laying nearby and washing their faces with puddles.

Kinda messed up and very weird to think that we are all humans and live so differently from each other.

I see much the same thing. What's really interesting to me is what passes for "humor" in each culture. What I think is hysterically funny, many of my friends around the world go "What!!??".
They just don't understand what I'm saying or why I think it's funny.
That to me is the most striking thing.

I am a Hindu and you can just see it in me that I am hairy and dark and smelly, regardless how close I shave, take bath or wear perfume.
