I'm emailing a resume and some employers say they can't open or read it. Is there a best format to always send it in?

RTF, (Rich Text Format). It can be read by just about all computers.

If you have acrobat, save it as an acrobat file. Otherwise, purchase microsoft Word (or office), and quit using works. Works is useless and incompatible with just about anything else.

save it as a webpagge thenthey can open it in their browser
