I haven't gained any weight at all. I went to the dr. at 8 and 12 weeks and heard a heartbeat both times. dr. said everything looks good. I feel like I eat enough but not gaining weight. Looked a babygallery.com and all those women were noticeably pregnant by now. Is this normal not to be showing at all by 13 weeks?

VERY normal! Alot of women don't 'show' til their 5th or 6th month. And you really shouldn't be putting on that much weight yet! The majority of your weight gain should come at the end of your 2nd trimester and in your 3rd. I'm almost 37 weeks, and I've put on a total of 19 lbs. Don't worry about a thing!

That's normal! I actually lost about 5 pounds in my first trimester. I had some morning sickness, but the main reason for my weight loss was I started eating much much healthier. I couldn't seem to stomach greasy or fatty food (for the 1st time in my life, lol)

I didn't actually see a weight gain until my 18-19 week. And at that point, I've only gained 6 pounds.

So yes, its definitely normal not to have gained weight yet or even be showing. I'm just now starting to show and am a week away from my 3rd trimester.

A lot of people dont gain in their first trimester. Some people even lose weight. If its your first pregnancy you may not start to show until 18-24 weeks, some dont show till even later. Im almost 11 weeks with my third and showing like Im three months women who have carried children before tend to show sooner... although not all will. Every pregnant woman and pregnancy is different.

with my first pregnancy I didn't even start having a noticeable baby bump until 25-28 weeks. And barely started showing at 20 weeks with my 2nd pregnancy. And with my 2nd pregnancy I haven't gain any weight yet at all and that's normal. As long as you're eating right. And dont try to gain weight by eating more. Just eat how you're eating now.

Everyone gains differently and shows at different times, with my first pregnancy I didn't even look preggo until around my 7Th month, this time around I had a noticeable belly by 12 weeks. But I am not gaining much either.. I am at 36 weeks and have only gained 8 pounds. it just depends on your body type.

I didn't gain any weight during the 1st trimester (thru wk 13) in my 1st 2 pregnancies. I did not "show" in my 1st pregnancy until I was 5 months and didn't wear maternity clothes until my 7-8 month. You're OK. It's normal not to gain any weight during the 1st trimester. When you get into your second trimester you will start gaining. Good luck.

every woman's body is different. i felt that way at first, but its worth the wait. i started showing at 3 1/2 months. but now at 5 months i just blew up. but its more exciting to see a change over night! Just be patient. also i have only gained like 2 pounds. people may not think its ok but my doc said that as long as baby continues to grow its ok. i dont know why i cant gain a significant amount. but thats lless for me to loose afterwards. Then again i am petite and weigh 120 at 5"3.

All women are different. I didn't really start showing until I was 7 months. The eating for two thing has been drawn out way to much! I weighed myself 3 days after I delivered and I was 135lbs. Two weeks later I was back down to my normal 120lbs. It all depends on your body size, frame, how active you are, what you eat, your metabolism and how much water you drink.

It's normal. I actually lost about 5 pounds during my first trimester from morning sickness. You'll start to put on weight soon.
