could this be love? or is it just lust? we have asked ourselves this question each time someone who attracts us comes into lives.

The truth is only you can decide that. You know who you are. You know what type of person attracts you physically , emotionally or mentally. You also know what your tendencies are. Do you love to sleep around? or are you attracted to only a set of unique qualities.

The truth is you may later decide that based on your attraction , it is indeed love, which I consider as a genuine desire not only to be with the person physically but to contribute positively to the person's well-being.

However , be careful oftentimes love is one-sided . Take the necessary time and opportunities available to make sure that the feeling is mutual.

Or you may later wake up to a cold reality that you had genuinely loved, but the other person took the opportunity to take advantage of your preference or vulnerability to them without really caring about your well-being.

If it is love? You will know eventually..... Take care of yourself and dont accept anything less than what you deserve.

Could be lust. Could be love. Probably neither. What is your situation now? If you are not currently in a prosperous, successful relationship, then you are probably just lonely. Then, naturally, you will start to create feelings in your heart for someone, often idealizing something that really wasn't ever there in the first place. In other words, you'll remember the good times and feel the good feelings toward that person, but it is not really that person you are feeling for. It is just your mind creating feelings that it wishes it was experiencing for real with someone, anyone!

Sweetie it can't be lust, because if it is he or she already done something about it. I think if I'm not mistaken it's emotional feelings, that goes deep that is why even after a year this person thinks about it.

Ha, I have been in lust with lots of people I've never dated for way more than a year!

Still, it's obvious you do not want to call it lust. Call it what you want. Infatuation? Crush?
