"They can have their votes of no-confidence but it's not going to make the determination about who serves in MY government," Bush said Monday.

Last time I checked we did not vote Bush in as King of America but president. It is OUR government is it not?

Yet another example of the arrogance of the Bush administration. How narrow minded it is for him to express what the majority of everyone else already knows, that being George W. has only HIS interests at heart rather than actually being a leader for all the people of the United States. This presidency will go down as one of, if not THE worst in the history of our country. Thank GOD we only have a limited time left with this president in office.

It hasn't been the peoples government for along time.
When Reagan and a democratic Congress deregulated everything there was and everyone sat back and said nothing you gave them the right to continue. AND THEY HAVE
When a Congress puts in a bill that it is illegal to negotiate lower drug prices it should tell ya how far backwards we have gone.
When people defend our 37th ranking in the world in health care as being the best there is telling ya something
When people believe a grossly manipulated supply of oil is a true marketing factor in supply and demand of gas and oil prices is telling ya something.
If you look back we didn't vote Bush in the supreme court gave it to him

Bush is a spoiled-rotten rich kid who has never learned that he is a public servant. I'm sure when he played cops-and-robbers as a kid, it was HIS gun, too. Bush is a madman in the very same way that Joseph Stalin, Adolph Hitler, Idi Amin and Saddam Hussein were insane leaders of THEIR governments. -RKO- 06/11/07

When did he say he was king? Once again someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. He was obviously talking about his administration. The Democrats are trying to politicize the right of the President to lay-off people in his administration 'who serve at the privilege of the President'. I guess It was alright for Clinton to fire hundreds of attorneys and the travel office, or when he claimed he couldnt be investigated because he was 'on active duty'.

I think its part of his plan to overturn the Constitution next year and become a dictator. I'd be terrified if I were you. (wink, wink). Seriously, I think he was probably referring to his administration.

To say "my administration" would be correct terminology. So to say "my government" is an easy slip of the tongue. Bush is not elitist, so don't take the comment too far.

Yes I did, and isn't it scary when we have a leader that makes statements like that? Oh God, we need an election TODAY!
The chimp is just plain evil and America MUST band together and get him and his cohorts out of office as well as ALL the congressmen/women that have supported this nonsense!
