what is the highest wattage sidelight bulb you can buy for a car? the capless type.?

I'd check your vehicle handbook, probably 99% of cars have 5W bulbs fitted as standard, but if you go to any motor factor you can buy 10W capless bulbs. But as i said check your handbook, personally i wouldn't change from the recommended fitment.

Sidelight bulbs are all 5W - as are tail lights.
Brake lights, indicators, reversing lamps and rear fog lamps are all 21W.
