Chase it away. Stray cats can carry diseases that might harm my own cats who I pay a great deal of money to keep healthy! People who let their cats roam free and unattended should not be allowed to have pets.

It depends, do you like cats? If not chase it away and it wont come back. If you do like cats feed it, it probably really hungry. The same thing happened to me, a stray very pretty all white cat was lingering around my back door a lot so I asked my five year old did she feed it before and she said yes. I Got upset and scolded her about going around stray animals(she love all animals). Later that day I followed her and her little friend with a can of tuna going to feed that cat after I told her not to! But then I noticed they went to my tool shed and in their was the cat and a litter of four baby kittens. My daughter turned to me and said "You said it is good to help someone who needs to feed their family". I couldn't be mad at her after hearing her Micky mouse voice say that. Now miss snow (the cat) and the kids (the kittens) visit our door step every night.

i had the same problem this stray kept coming over i never fed it the next week it got hit by a car and had to be put to sleep you don't have to feed it maybe give a place too sleep in the house for a night some good food an take it to a animal shelter they will make sure they find a good home for it but i think if the kitty keeps coming over to your backyard it might just like you you should keep it

you should feed a cat 1-2 times a day. however, if you do not want this stray cat to stick around then do NOT feed it. it will come back to you for more food and get more and more comfortable around you. but, if you would like it at your house and like to adopt it or something its totally okay to feed it just be careful because it is a stray and could hurt you. also, some types of food may hurt the cat.

I would say you should feed the only problem with this is that the cat will keep coming near your house for food. however we always but some food outside for the strays and we have three cats so they can eat it as well if they want. But if there are fights with the stray and your cats (if you have any) then i would stop feeding it. hope it helps xx

feed the cat for a while until you can find a GREAT HOME for it. i would sell it for free outside the humane association. someone is sure to buy it there. that's what i did with two stray puppies. now, they are happy and have a family to support them.

I love all of God's creatures so I would befriend the cat and offer it fresh water and something to it. If you really don't ever want the cat to bother, don't put these things down. Good luck.

If you want another continuous chore then feed it, if not just put it in your neighbors backyard.

i would feed it because A. it might be pretty hungry since its a stray and B. it might have rabies and if you chase it away it might get mad and go crazy on you! o___O
