I've been reading questions and answers of other users and I want to vote for best or worst answer by selecting the
"thumbs-up" or "thumbs-down" icons. However, for some reason, I cannot vote.
Can someone help me figure this out?

You cannot give thumbs up or thumbs down til you reach level 2 (250 points). However, you can still vote for best answer, once the question goes to voting. When the question is "In Voting" you just scroll down to the answer you think is best, click the blue box that says "Vote for Best Answer". Anyone on any level can vote for a best answer, just can't give thumbs up or down until Level 2.
Thumbs up or down DO NOT count as votes for best answer. These are simply ratings given by other users, who may agree or disagree with the answer given.
If you want to practice voting, go to main answers page, look across the top, all the way on the right you will see a tab that says "Vote" for best answers. Practice your voting there.

You cannot vote on an answer until you reach level 2 which is 250 points. At the time I answered your question you were only level 1 with 150 points.

Need to get to higher level.May I give you some advice?When you read a question and the person has a comment for each answer that is negative,do not answer that they are being rude to others,you will get reported by them.That is not a good feeling.Just put thanks for 2,and move on..
