Do you talk back to them and thank them when they tell you the floor number?

LOL.! Never had a conversation with the lift but have told them many a time to f off when they stop at every floor before reaching the one you wan't - They do it just to wind u up, especially when you are in a rush.

All those eletronic voiced things annoy me, there are far too many of them. I was trying to have a coffee in Costa on the 1st floor of a Tesco last week and all I could hear was the electronic voices of the serve yourself checkouts and the electronic voice of the trolley-conveyor thing saying "caution; you are approaching the end of the conveyor..." etc. It drove me nuts.

No. Apparently, the lifts in wolverhamptons museum are voiced by Noddy Holder. Class!

no, i don't talk back to them!! but I tend to zone out when I'm in a lift. I think the voices are to aid the partially sited, or plan dizzy! (such as myself on certain days)

they annoy me. the one we have in the shopping centre says 'floor two' but cos the woman sounds man-ish it comes out like 'floor poo'.lol

Hmmm, never been on one. I had a car that talked once and THAT was annoying.

the lift can speak all day....
as long as the doors open
and the thing doesn't get stuck with me in it!

Ive never thought about it really but now you ask...., probably Yes... they are annoying... i swear at them occasionally!
