I've often wondered, how many people go by Kings Cross Station, I go back cause I take the Piccaddily then either the circle of city line from there. If I counted there probarly more then 1000 especially at peak hours!

In 2005/6 Kings Cross was the busiest underground station with 71.5 million passengers. That is about 200,000 every day (that is an average so there will be more during the week)

I wouldn't put the number as high as a million, as the 3 million figure represents journies made. When you consider that most commuters make 2 journies a day (home and back) then you are already down to 1.5 million a day.
I would put the figure around about 150,000 in a day. Each commuter train travelling into KX has about 750-1000 people. They arrive approximately one every 5 minutes (if you include St pAncras).
That makes about 1000 x 12 = 12000 an hour at peak.
Once you add tube thats another 8000 an hour maybe.
20,000 an hour at peak, which is 7-10 and 4-7, so 120,000.
Add tourists during the day you may have another 30,000?
These are all just rough estimates

What a coincidence, i travel thru KCross too.
There are said to be about 3 million people travelling on the tube every single day. If you divide that by the busiest stations in the city, waterloo, victoria, and kingscross, i would put the number close to a million just in KC in a day... at least!!

According to TfL 71,503,000 passengers use the station every year with 65,000 using it in the morning peak time (7-10am) every week day
