What are better ways of testing a product?

If the testing can't be done any other way, or if the testing is for the benefit of the animals, then it is not necessarily a bad thing. Eventually computer models will probably replace animal testing, but its years away from that being practical. Animal research benefits animals (sometimes) so it isn't all bad. I oppose testing cosmetics on animals, etc., because it just seems so redundant - they were testing things that already been tested simply because it was regulation even though the test results were quite conclusive, which seems ridiculous to me.

If people do not have an objection to using human embryos for medical research, there should not be an objection to animal testing either.
