Yes, I do believe in life existing somewhere else. I think it is only rational to believe that things like this are possible. One must maintain an open mind in view of the vastness of the Universe, and the immense number of possible solar systems and planets out there. Discovery of planets in other solar systems which have the necessary attributes for carbon based life forms is just now in its infancy and future discoveries are impossible to forecast but certainly probable. What remains to be seen is the timing of the life development process on the Earthlike equivalent planets.

If you took the total age of the Earth, for example, and compressed it down into a 24 Hour Period, the Great
Pyramids of Egypt would have been built during the very last 10 Seconds of that period. So, when discovering a new planet with Earthlike qualities, who knows what point that planet might be at in its own life development process. Life there might be in the insect stage, fish stage, bird stage, etc. Along the same lines, it is not rational to presume that this Earthlike Planet we might find has endured the exact same set of influences as our Earth has over the past four billion years. Life forms there might lead or lag the development of ours, and might well have taken a dog leg out onto a different line of evolution such as Intelligent Birds, or Intelligent Fish. No telling...

There should be..The universe is so extensive that it extremely is stupid for everybody to have self belief that we are the only existence sort in existence. maximum human beings of people are no longer psychologically arranged to even see an ET much less work together with one. i think that when a human interacts with an ET for the 1st time it will be very like turning on the lighting fixtures in a dismal room and seeing a mutilated man or woman on the floor. The horror of seeing a creature that has continuously been debated whether it existed or no longer could be great certainly. besides all this rubbish I do have self belief that extraterrestrial beings exists. Its in basic terms too undesirable that we are going to no longer pass to them.

Yes.
The newly discovered planet is around 20 light years away. A million light years would put it outside of our galaxy, which it isn't by a long stretch.

Yes, possible, not exactly looked as human
In our case, planet earth
There are different species (creatures)
here some have tails, eye located outside the body (crab)
some flying (birds), some with many eyes (bee, fly), long neck (giraffe), many legs(spider), eyes on their body(caterpillar), some doesn't travel(trees), live under water (fish)
earth is just one of the billion particle of the universe, where there is atmosphere, sun, water etc.
other planets might have with same qualities as out planet.
so many of them, so many possibilities
They might have also creatures that has eye on their side, one eye maybe, small head etc.

So you can finally eat all the pizza you want and not worry about gaining weight in the weightlessness out there. Watch out for Space invaders.

On a more serious note, did you know that humankind came from outer space. Eden is not here on earth, remember!!

i don't disbelieve that there is some form of 'life' out there in whatever form, however if your talking about 'aliens' then i believe if there was any then they are more advanced than us maybe, if they are why then do they not show themselves, if they are more advanced they then would know that we can't possibly harm them in anyway as we haven't got the 'intelligence' that they might possess in order to travel millions of light years to come and 'watch' us. it's scary to think there might be 'aliens' in a good or bad way it's just something that i believe if ever happened none of us would know how to deal with it at all.

Angels of God, for example, not only can travel around this planet but also can travel around outerspace. Angels are example of a life form. They are living not only in this space but also in the outer space.

Adam and Eve were also used to live in heaven. So they existed in a place other than this planet. They descended to this planet. They were carried here. Therefore there was travelling around one place of space to this place of space.

Mohammed (peace be upon him) also in his 'Night of Miraj' travelled across from this space to outer space.

Jesus (peace be upon him) is also believed to have been elevated somewhere in the outer space.

So the examples of extraterrestrial beings are not very far away and they are real.

Do you mean _sentient_ extraterrestrial beings, or just any extraterrestrial being? The latter would certainly be concievable, but the former seems a bit unlikely (my opinion being a solid 'no').

Given the number of galaxies, stars and planets out there, I think it is very likely that extraterrestrial life exists.

The chances of humans encountering ET life are slim to none.

As we keep discovering more and more worlds, and techniques are being refined to improve future searches, as well as new technologies and search techniques being developed all the time, we will almost undoubtedly find life somewhere else. It's just a matter of time.
