i cant seem to play Zelda on my Wii

There are two things you have to do to play it:
1. Place the disk in right.
2. Make sure the disk is clean. If the disk was dirty, you wouldn't play it, or atleast it wouldn't be that easy to play.

... Why can't you use the controller and nunchuck that came with the Wii? That's all that's required for the game, unless you're playing the GameCube version (in which case you'd need a GameCube controller).

Either the disk is upside down, or you're trying to play the Gamecube version. I dunno. Give more details.
