I liked it. It did leave me wanting more, however. But that is the way Chase is - never ordinary. Tony is an anti-hero and the ending was anticlimactic.
Personally, I couldn't have ended it any better.

Not what I wanted but just what I expected. No real attempt against Tony's life, Paulie Walnuts caving in because he feels someone else is getting his glory and gravy, Carmilla turning a blind eye to her disfunctional family, Janise looking out for #1/ herself, Meadow wanting to save the world while thinking her family is above the law and normal, and AJ being AJ. Everything else was a tease for future movies and spinnoff posibilities.
What a shame that a show that was one so great that it should fall to the wasteside with such a dull ending

It ended weird. I wish they would've shown whether Tony lived or not.
How I would've ended it: Tony goes to the bathroom and shoots the guy that we see walking in the bathroom that was sent to kill Tony. Guess it may leave it open if they want to bring the show back. How many times is this that the loyal viewers thought or heard that this was the last episode ever.
One more show would've been a great finale.

It ended in true David Chase style, he has always done things the way you least expect. At first I was like "What the F**K! Then I thought about how genius it was. The last like five minutes in the diner scene, with the shady characters lingering around, one walks in with AJ, Meadow with parking troubles in the street, The guy that goes in the bathroom, the guy with the hat in the corner booth. It was pure suspense, I almost couldn't stand it. That's what it must be like for Tony 24/7. Then LIGHTS OUT, it could be over like that, like with Phil Leotardo saying good bye to the Grand kids then BAM, its over. And it leaves us all guessing! Very cool in a tortuous sort of way!

I enjoyed the the last episode. Tony had scenes with all of his family. He allowed Tony to have closer with each member: Janice, Uncle Junior, Paulie and his family.
Also, keep in mind that those people in the Dinner, could be the Feds to arrest Tony.

It was a huge copout. I would have Tony arrested by the Feds, killed by one of Paulie's henchmen, AJ kill Tony or vice versa due to AJ's growing resentment and depression or Paulie killed by Tony. I dunno but all that suspense led to nothing!
