LOL. How right you are!! You would think that a boat would be the first item a person would want to take along, but no, everyone always says that they would take a person, or food, or something like that. I'm going to ask this to people today, just to see what they say!

They would if they wanted to escape. I'd love to live on deserted island with my bf.
But the boat sounds like a great idea too. I'd loose my mind after some time being away from civilization.

Because you're obviously smarter than most that are asked that. Even I never thought of that, but I think it's because of the phrasing "what would you bring". You're right though that does kinda boggle the mind.
