who is your favourite superhero and why?? Mine has got to be Superman coz hes the ultimate superhero, all others originate from him. If there was to be a special government run by superheros Superman would be president. He is not just a protector of a certain country or area like so many others but the whole world!

I think Superman has got to be the best, he is the only human looking alien superhero.
I have always thought him to be what everyone would want in a superhero.
Strength and speed, integrity and kindness, what more can you ask for.
He has clothing issues (outside pants) but other than that, no complaints.
The films have made him great.
I have watched Superman 1 many times and the scene where he swoops up and catches Lois and then the helicopter as they fall off the skyscraper always gives me goose bumps.
The strength that he is supposed to be endowed with is beyond comprehension.
Even though I know Lois falls in American and was caught in France (where the scenes were filmed) makes no difference.
I have just finished watching the Lois and Clarke TV series with Dean Cain as superman and although it seems to lose the plot every now and then it is still good to watch.
Now for anyone reading this I can assure you I am quite normal, but if you see a 53 year old trying to fly off the quay at Aberaeron you probably will be right in assuming it is me....lol

My favourite has to be batman because he went through so much loss and decided that he would protect the city that he lived in rather than try to destroy it like half of these supervillains
I also like that he is prepared for anything and how if he even knows you exist he's prepared for a fight
The last thing is how batman brought a new grittier side to superheroes.

Batman, but that's just because he chose to do something to help protect others and he was just a normal person, put in the hard work to become what he is now, he didn't get his power from another planet or some experiment but from training to be come a ninja and having a bit of money to his name, Iron man is similar as he does't have a power but without his suit his nothing, batman at least still has his skills as a ninja and his skills as a detective to do good, he doesn't have to depend on his money, suit and gadgets as much.

I would have to say Catwoman- I know, I know, she's not exactly a 'super hero' per sey, but she's the ultimate in sexiness- so much more so than goody-two shoes Wonder Woman. She's dark, mysterious and has Batman eating out of her hand... Girl Power! But yes, if there were a 'super hero government' Superman would be the president/prime minister or whatever... Catwoman would be too busy doing intersting things, like shopping for her new catsuit!

My choice has to be xena warrior princess, quite simply because of the following;
Sexy, sophisticated and glamorous. Compassionate, sensitive and understanding at the same time independant loyal and stubborn. This lady is the ultimate superhero.

I was always partial to The Flash. When I was a kid and my friends and I would play SuperFriends, I was always running around as The Flash. My bestfriend was Green Lantern. He'd throw a rope pretending to have made it with his ring and I'd catch the other end to tie-up the "villain" kids. Summer afternoons were great in those bygone days.

The Flash is my favorite character. His only power is super speed, and he uses creativity to simulate other powers with his speed. Also b/c he's the Fastest Man Alive. He's even faster than Superman.

Batman.
No superpowers, just an ordinary citizen like everyone of us of us. But he Chose to be a superhero, using technology, his body and most importantly courage to protect others.

I like the Punisher. He's got a matte black car , lots of guns, a love for booze and a cool T-shirt.
He was revenge driven but now he sees that the strong should protect the weak and needy.
Give him some Kryptonite tipped bullets and Superman is as good as dead.
