Only you know that... but that type of job makes it much harder.

People who are together every day still have problems, so being apart so much of the time has to be hard and cause temptation and stress...

I hope he can. That would be such a beautiful, hopeful, wonderful thing to know a husband in such a tough situation can stay faithful... and that a wife can have the faith and patience to make it all work out.

Good luck!

"They" or "he"? As has already been said, there is a difference between lumping a group together and signaling out an induvidual. It's about trust. I'm a housewife. My husband is a student pastor. I don't go with him to all of his home and hospital visits. However, if I wanted to get suspicious, how do I really know if Mary Jane Thomas is really an 82-year-old woman in a nursing home or a 22-year-old student at a local college and then what is the real nature of the visit? When I go grocery shopping and do other errands, who is to say that one of them isn't, well, fun?

There was a period in our marriage in which I was thisclose to having a physical affair. I suppose that I did have an emotional one and my friend picked up on it. He did help me through my husband's and my rought spot. Not by so much as kissing me, but by being a friend.

There are opportunities for adultry in all marriages. It's about trust. Do you trust your husband? I wonder about that, after your question.

I have been with my OTR husband for almost 6 years, sure, some can some cant. I am one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to worry. I always know when he gets home, hes going to be tired and h*rny, so take care of his needs, give him something to look forward to coming home too and you shouldn't have an issue. How long have you been married? The first year I was skeptical, but he has shown me that not all drivers have to be alley cats.

My wife stays at home while I drive "over the road" for long hours daily. Can she be trusted?
We know how women go off the rails when they haven't gotten any.
A woman can always get some strange while us guys have to work at it.
Can she be trusted?

After all it is about trust.

Are you asking, can 'men' in general be trusted or can YOUR husband be trusted. If you have to ask, chances are YOUR husband can't be trusted.

You ask if "they can be trusted". You married him - not them. It's just one guy. Don't lump him in with all of the rest. Make your own judgment based on what you know about him.

If your asking this question, you need to file for divorce. You have no trust.
