Short Answer: Red Sox

Long Answer: The Hall chooses which cap a player will wear on their plaque based on their longevity each team and how well they played while they were there. For example, Carlton Fisk played 9 seasons with the Red Sox and 11 with the White Sox, but went in with a B on his cap because he played his best years in Boston.

In Clemens case, the longevity is so skewed that the quality of play won't even be a factor. He spent 13 years with the Sox and is the all-time team leader in strikeouts, innings pitched, and wins (tied with Cy Young). He also won 3 Cy Young Awards and an MVP with Boston.

Compare that to NY, where he's starting his 6th season and has won a single Cy Young award.

How 'bout a big "?"... or just leave it blank (which is what's inside big George's head) for paying out 28-million for 3 or 4 months work. Could hold a raffle and the loser gets the hat logo. Clemens doesn't care, why should we. It'll be just another "glory" day for him. Someone said that Lloyds of London is giving odds that Clemens won't even show up for induction unless he's paid for it. That sounds like him.
Let's see - spring training was February & March, he didn't pitch his first game until June.
Hall of Fame induction is July... he'll show up around September, maybe.

They started a new rule in the last few years in which the Hall's committee makes the final decision on what team's hat each player would wear.

Since the free agency era...most guys going to the hall have played for more than one team. It started getting a lil fishy and teams were basically bribing players to wear their hat so the Hall put a stp to the corruption surrounding the topic.

Not everyone is like Tony Gwynn or Cal Ripken.

I think the Sox. He put a lot of his best numbers there. He did win 3 of his 7 Cy Youngs there and did spend 13 years with that organization

Yankees because after his career some one will say "Roger Clemens" and you will immediately think of him winning his only series ring with them.

yankees..you look at where he won his championships, and where he made the most money...

or you can use the process of elimination:

blue jays---no ties here, left as soon as he could force the trade.
astros--good 3 seasons, but no rings. will be part of his after-playing career.
red sox--too much acrimony when they gave up on him at what has proven to be a pre-mature point in his career. no rings, and they never paid him
which leaves the yankees---they always paid him, treated him with respect and wear he won all of his world series rings.

He should go with the Yankees hat because thats where he won his championships. Plus he has so much respect for Steinbrenner and Torre that I think he will.

It was already announced that it will be the Red Sox. Look at his victory totals by team and you will see why.
