Wow, its very weird that you asked this question because I just had my lip pierced earlier. I love pierced lips just because I like the look of them. Other people think they look stupid but its also a way of showing other people 'I dont give a **** what you think :)' lol. They look cute on girls and hot on boys so its not a 'one gendered thing'. I love lip piercings and they dont have alot of pain either like I imagined them to. I just love every little thing about lip piercings!

I think it is a painful way of expressing ones self for fashion or identity. I prefer if I must be in pain there be a baby at the end of it ,putting another hole in my face just does not make sense or the scar when I remove it. I stopped at the ears I have three holes in each yet I only wear one pair at a time. I would not have done that if I could see my future tastes so glad I left my lip alone o_O ,Just my opinion

I love them i have a fetish over body piercings ( i have my belly button pierced eyebrow and lip)

Stupid,painful,and horrible. It's because the best piercings are ear peircings. And Ear piercings aren't that painful. It's not stupid either.

I don't really like them anymore well not on me atleast because I felt like a Fish with a Hook stuck in my lip and it was annoying to eat with a metal object in my lip..But for other people they look okay sometimes..

i like them, i have 2, a labret and a medusa
i've had them 10 years now as well as my tongue
i wear very small jewellery, its the kids with the ridiculously big lip rings that do my box in, they are forever playing with them, pointless

Hate it...the rings look stupid and the studs look like particularly nasty zits.
Tongue piercing is good.

It's fine but I think it's kinda dangerous because it is highly possible to get infected.
