Louisiana--King Louis XVI of France I believe because France owned the 'Louisiana Purchase,' or that area before it was bought by the U.S. through President Thomas Jefferson.

King - - - Georgia.. and Louisiana and the Carolians, the name being a Latin variant of Charles..

Queen - - - Virginia.

However just to be a stinker, New York was named after James the Duke of York who later served as King before being ousted by religious zealots.
