I don't believe that things happen by chance. I do believe that there is a script written for us when we are born, and that we have the ability to alter that script as life goes on , but only slightly. I am 84 years old, and that has been my experience.

I would really like to think that I am in the driver's seat and in control of what happens when it comes to my life, but then, wouldn't you know, I get pulled over for speeding!

if everything was pre-determinged, that would give all of us the excuse to act any lawless way we wanted to. that would be chaotic
