If you don't feel comfortable with the instructor , you will have problems with the lessons! Well done for finding the courage to resume lessons. I am two minds about resuming lessons myself as my hubby is extremely sexist when he gets behind the wheel. Also, when I had male instructors (not sexually ha ha) I felt that I wasn't learning as much as I did with a female! At least have a go on Wednesday and good luck!

You are paying and you are the boss. He / she may be the instructor, but everything besides the driving lesson should be at your "pleasure".
At anytime if you feel uncomfortable with the instructor, just change the instructor. PERIOD.

I once took flying lessons. Me my firs instructor hit if off real good. I was advancing very quickly. But then he had to move to Florida and then I got some real losers for instructors. I was just not learning because one guy was just a yeller and another was a nervous wreak.
So don't blame yourself if you are not advancing because of bad instructors.

I think you were most unfortunate to have chosen a very bad instructor; they really aren't all like that. I had a male instructor and he was brilliant. Disassociate yourself with your past driving experiences and start your new course of lessons with a completely open mind and the will to succeed. If, however, you genuinly find this impossible to do after the first couple of lessons, be quite honest with the instructor and explain the reason for your nervousness; sharing this with her will probably be a weight off your mind and you'll find yourself able to move forward with success. Good luck!

Be brave!!! If this instructor is awful, report her to the school & make them give you another. You are paying for the lessons & you need to be comfortable w/ the person who is helping you learn. You don't need to be made to feel nervous by the person who should be helping you.
You can do anything you set your mind to do! Go Girl!

you need to try your best to put your bad experience behind you and start a fresh with this new lady - might be worth taking a few minutes explaining to her that you have had a really bad experience before and this has made you very nervous. I'm sure she will completely understand and be very patient with you.
Well done on getting back behind the wheel - very brave!

Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine!

when I did my training I did handbook & they did take me on the line yet went to a extra secluded place to prepare then began with reasonably busy roads, then highways and so on. they are going to take you someplace devoid of lots site visitors & progressively introduce busier roads as you progression. do no longer complication... you would be positive :) they gained't assume you to be a professional, it incredibly is the place the instructor is offered in... to tutor you. attempt to no longer get worried, self belief is the main... think of roughly something else & you would be thinking why you have been ever worried. sturdy success :) & wish this enables.
