I didn't read through all the questions, however; I would like to see someone who just upholds the constitution. Wishful thinking on my part........probably so. Nonetheless, I can see through the answers I had read that it's easy to see that if you're 100% republican or 100% democrat, there tends to be fighting amongst americans simply because we believe our party is right.

Whatever happened to being civil and being entitled to your own opinion?

If it happens that a democrat is better suited for the job, then I will vote that way. If a republican happens to be better suited for the job, then I will vote republican. If it's an independent, then I will vote independent.

It's all about their moral character and what they have done for people prior to running for office.

Let's stand together and win for us, the people of the United States. After all, the government is suppose to be of the people, for the people, and by the people.

We are a nation that was built on the principles of a small government for the people and by the people. It was designed under the assumption that a people with just a small push in the right direction is capable of great things on it's own. Do any of you really feel you need someone to hold your hand through life, someone else to pay your bills when your sick, someone else to save for your retirement, someone else to decide you are not giving enough to charity? The reason a Democrat will not win the white house is that they look down on the American people and tell them that without their help and their guidance we are to incapable to survive and thrive as a nation. The government is not their to control our lives, it is their to set goals to lead our nation into the future and protect us from those who seek to take from us what we have worked so hard to gain. People want to withdraw from a conflict that is in the interest of the world we live in. People say "why do we have to be the global police?" Because we cannot stand by and let others do what needs to be done, because they will not have our best interests in mind. That is why a democrat will not and should not be elected president in 2008.

i think of George Bush will play a great area in the dying of the Republican party. Lyndon Johnson performed a great area in the dying of the Democratic party. Johnson even stated so himself and stated that it would consistently fee his party the southern vote. The south oftentimes used to vote democratic, now it oftentimes votes Republican. i think of the newshounds overlaying the election gets purely somewhat of a marvel this year whilst states that oftentimes bypass pink bypass blue. the enormous shocker may well be Indiana probably going blue for the 1st time on the grounds that 1964. Indiana has purely voted democrat one time on the grounds that 1940. The economic equipment in the midwest is incredibly undesirable marvelous now because of the fact it noticeably relies upon upon production jobs that have been lost for the period of the Bush administration. McCain has supported a lot of Bush's rules to win the Republican cost ticket, yet that is his downfall come the national election. If I have been Obama, i might tie McCain as heavily to Bush as available and deem him as yet another 4 years of Bush. i think of the election determination will come all the way down to the Midwest, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida. yet another difficulty that doesn't help to win those states, McCain already admitted he knows not something approximately economics. He even jested that he offered Greenspan's e book because of the fact he knows little or no approximately how the economic equipment works. The midwest desperately desires a extra perfect economic equipment. and then with McCain choosing a working mate with little or no adventure from a state based upon oil earnings i don't think of the midwest will look on that too nicely.

Yes, I believe that they'll take the White House. I just think that the Republicans aren't fielding a good team.

As for changes, we really won't see too many. Middle class will still get screwed. More of our money will go to hand outs and less to the military. We will still be in Iraq, but our efforts will be greatly hampered due to lack of funds. The doors to Mexico will be opened wide. All current illegals will be given amnesty and more invited. They will ALL be given welfare and social security. The middle class will have to try to bear that burden too.

And then we will have a Democratic President that everyone can bash on for awhile. Then, eventually we'll elect a Republican President. One big vicious cycle.

Here's the problem-- Chances are that Hillary will be the next president of the U. S. but the people are so upset with the Democratic Congress and Senate that they will probably vote them out. Bush is extremely unpopular and his approval rating is like 28% but Congress has an approval rating of only 23%. The Republicans have not yet come up with a candidate that sparkles -- Fred Thompson seems to have stirred up the most interest but he cannot beat Hillary. We don't have many good choices in the upcoming election.

If the American people are ready for the Nationalization of the health-care system and any other Socialist measures Hillary or Obama want to foist on them, then they will win. But it is a long time before November 2008.

Remember: The Democrat Party is the wing of the Socialist Party which has a chance of being elected. When you vote for a Democrat you are voting for Socialism.

The Russians got really tired of it. You will too when you realize who pays the bills.

Probably yes.

Not because the dem's have any great ideas, (they just criticize everyone elses), it will be because of political burn out. After the Clintons, people wanted enyone other than a Dem, and I'm sure it will again happen to the current occupents of the white house.

I believe it will be worse for our country, the Dem's are weak on national defense, voted against the Patriot act, are against the war on terror (even though most Dem's voted for it, but if it were going great, Pelosi and Hilary would be out there trying to get there Kudos), they are weak on border security and many voted agianst funding our troops in a middle of a war! That should be prosecuted as treason.

They passed the largest tax hike in American history during the Clinton years and at the begining of this year when the Dem majority took office, Yup you guessed it, another tax hike.

The changes I see for the future will be amesty for illeagals, a national health care plan that will break the American economy, a weakening of our military (it was cut in half during the Clinton years, but deployed more than the previous four presidents put together) Gays in the military, abortion on demand and social programs (more crap like Midnight basketball, again during the Clinton years).

I think we will also see an attack on our 2nd amendment right (right to bear arms) and more liberal judges on the Supreme court bench (like Ruth Geensburg, who had no experience argueing a case before the court, "never," she was a lobbyist for the ACLU). Were gonna see more of your taxes stripped from your pay check for "Global Warming" and heavier regulation imposed on American companies which will drive the cost of everything sky high.

I hate to sound like a Liberal, but the future looks bleak under Democratic rule.

The Dems will win unless we change our attitude about the war and the violations of the constitution bush has had carried out. What we need is a Republican candidate who has the guts to stand up to Bush. This is serious we are not talking about any candidate. Hillary Clinton will be our next president unless we get back in step with America. We are looking for a leader but we only have shadows of GWB.
Fred Thompson for President.

The Magic 8 Ball is telling me the answer is no. Just like in the last 2 presidential elections they are fielding unelectable candidates. Until the Democrats put forward a candidate who can win the hearts of the moderates they will continue to lose at the national level.

It could be a toss up depending on who the republicans pitt against clinton or obama. If Guliani makes the republican ticket, then i believe that the republicans have it again. just because with his belief system, it is somewhat similar to that of the democrats in some major areas. he condones gay unions and is pro-choice. two major issues here in america that the two parties are split on. and with his track record for 9/11, he is a fan favorite. Not only will he pull the republican vote from the highly religious because he is running on that ticket, but he will also pull a good bit of the democratic vote due to his beliefs.
