Corrupt System?

When I turn on the news in the evenings I hear men raping girls and men child molesting kids they only get less then 7 years in prison.

But people who sell drugs like meth, crack, heroin, 10-20+

I think it is bull because the girls/kids will be emotionally scared for the rest of their lives.

I think people who have a drug problem can be fixed threw rehab and the word of god.

I think if someone rapes a girl or molest a child can not be fixed because they are chemically unbalanced or something is wrong with them to get theses urges to do such a horrific thing. but people who do drugs choose to do a thing because 1. Where around it and only know that lifestyle. 2. to get attention or to take their pain and emotional suffering away (past child hood / divorces ect.)

No, it is primarily because perps aren't caught, and when they are you are bringing a child into an adult court system which is not geared for children.

Unless you have been on the stand a lot, it is a very un-nerving thing to do even for adults. Now think what it is like for a 10 year-old! And then have to talk about the most difficult subject to talk about, sex and sexual abuse!

The questions lawyers ask are totally ridiculous!

Sell crack to a kid!. I really don't know which is worse! They both belong in jail!

Sentences are getting longer (you must remember that most child sexual assaults are done by family members) especially for Fixated Pedophiles, or those whose sexual preference is children and are for all practicle purposes untreatable. They often get the longer sentence. Many pedophiles will find a woman who has children in the age range they like and marry them. We call them Lazy Pedophiles!

In most of the cases I investigated involving family members, the mother of the child almost always allied with the perpetrator, who often was her father ( and she was molested, or the current step-father. Natural fathers do it as well, but not nearly as often and are usually regressed offenders).

When the two most powerful people in your life., the ones you were suppose to be able to trust the most, takes the side of a perp instead of the child that is a powerful message. Many mothers come around. Some never do! That is why children recant. Young children seldom lie about being sexually abused. Kids will often fib to get out of trouble, not into it!
