there is a registered sex offender in the condos where i live and right across his condo is a school. i thought there were some rules against that.

In Illinois it is something like 1000 feet from a school or basically anyplace where children are expected like a playground etc.

there is a certain distance...not positive what it is, but you should call your local police/sheriffs dept and find out IMMEDIATELY!
