I almost died from food poisoning once,sucked!What's your story?

This jan, I caught Jaundice. **** man! I rarely ever fall ill, ya know? And When I do come down with fever It is fun, Stay at home, not go for classes, guys bring their new games for me to play, I can always bounce a ball on the wall till I get on someone's nerves. But this time fever was so high( Anything over 103 reduces me to a lump on bed.)

The weakness? uhhh! I And on top of that, I threw up everything I took, even some bitter medicine that doctor had prescribed me b4 the test results came out. Ugh! I mean you really can't eat anything, you stop eating altogether. I survived on juice, and the first 3 days I even threw up all I drank. Bad luck.

I don't really get sick but when I do it's horrible. The worst was probably last year and it was so bad that I felt dizzy when I stood up. And if I tried to look up or to the left etc without my my head just my eyes it would hurt sooo bad. I lost my voice and I was constantly burning up. It took me about a week to recover. The last thing to finally go away was the thing with my eyes

Well I just had a SEVERE allergic reaction to medicine over the Memorial Day holiday. I had to be rushed three times to the hospital. Each time I had an I.V and was given a shot of steroids, benedryl, pepcid and a shot of adrenaline. Each time I went into anaphylactic shock. I had severe hives and my whole body was swollen, even my face, lips and eyelids were swollen. I couldnt breathe. I had to take steroids for a week. The hives lasted for a week and a half. What I went through I wouldnt wish on my worse enemy.

I was runover by a car after Church in a new suit. They had to rip it off me. I was drug for about 100 yards underneath the car, broke my jaw in two places, torn ligaments in my right knee, and both elbows, had a severe brain concussion, broken ribs, collapsed lung, broken nose, and numerous cuts and abrasions, and had second degree burns from the oil pan underneath. I also had tire tracks across my broken wrist, and across my chest. When the car stopped, I never lost consciousness, and I felt people tugging me from my arms and my legs at the same time! It really didn't hurt until the next day. The doctor in emergency took one look at me and said he had wished I had died because of too much to deal with on the table! When I was retrieved from underneath the car, I had a piece of gum that I was chewing and handed it to my stepmother. She thought it was a part of my jaw bone and passed out. I had blood all over the place, and when I was in the ambulance I looked up at my reflection, and didn't think of anything. I was clearly in control, but was in very serious condition by the time I reached the hospital.

I once had Jaundice(yellow fever) for more than 2/3 months. I turn yellow and I get head-splittin' headaches.I also burn up very badly (vision almost goes!), almost upto 110 degrees... All I could eat is bread and non sweet and non-oily other stuff. All I could drink is fruit juice! And I lost like 5 KG (I think 11 lbs) It sucked..

It was when I was about 12, I had the stomach virus I think..., well anyways I had it for about a week and a half, and I swear I almost lost like 10 pounds! Well maybe not that much but everything I ate I end up puking.

I had menongitis a couple yrs ago...I thought I was gonna die. I had to have a spinal tap done...oowwwww!!! I was so weak, I couldnt walk, I was pale as can be...I looked like I was already dead! I was in the hospital for only 2 days, they gave me this real potent 24 hr shot, those 24 hrs were horrible, but when they were over, I was fine as could be.

the night of the millennium i had a very bad case of food poisoning. started with being cold, then shivering, nausea, fever, stomach cramps (not regular cramps, top part of my stomach cramps). next day same thing, i couldnt eat a thing. 3rd day i got woozy & had 2 be taken 2 the ER. took me a week 2 feel a little better, & a month till i had all my strength back.

I almost died from foodm poisoning too. I ate at TGIF, and that made me incredibly sick for more than a week. I had a headache, sore throat, runny nose, stuffed nose, stomach problems, throwing up, fever, everything!

about ten years ago from drinking too much coca cola ,about 4 liters a day for 3 weeks in very hot weather ,next thing i knew was on drips in hospital for a month almosty died ended up thin as a skelleton ,doctors said it was the coka cola
