I love to use eyeliner, as I think it defines our eyes, make it bigger.
But my eyeliner doesn't last. After awhile, it smears, or smudges, making the bottom of my eyes, slightly dark in color.
I know liquid eyeliner is water proof, and is the best choice, but I don't know how to use liquid eyeliner, so can someone recommend me a good kohl eyeliner, and tell me how should I use it.

Hi
While applying the eyeliner, tilt your head back slightly and keep your eyes half-open to let you see yourself in the mirror as you are applying the liner. The line must be drawn on the upper lid from the inner side of the eye to the outer side. Let the liner dry before opening your eyes fully. To soften the look of harsh eyeliner, smudge it a little using the brush. Lower lid is lined from outer edge tapering to the inner side of the eye. Liquid liner has to be applied in one smooth stroke while pencil is applied by stroking the area lightly. Too thick eyeliner does not look good so go for thinner lines. Liquid liners need practice and brushed must always be washed with a makeup remover after using them. If your hand is shaky, stand close to the mirror to provide it support from the mirror. OR

liquid does not work all the time even if waterproof, i love my kohl eyeliner in the middleeast we are known for eyeliner, i have this amazing kohl pencil but the problem is i dont know if they sell it in america, its so black and does not smear at all i live in dubai (most humidity here) and does not smear or smudge its called diana of london arabian knights, but when i was in america i would use jordana eyeliner, its cheap and very good especially when u burn it with a lighter its amazing! and the best way is to practice practice practice!!! thats the best way to put it on, but put some in the inside of ur eye first then lightly hold ur eyelid closed and trace a slim line on top of ur lid extending out it will be hard at first but it works with time

Practice, practice, practice. Liquid eyeliner works best and you need a steady hand. Try it several times at home til you're able to line your eyes perfectly. Try using liquid eyeliner on your upper lids, just above your eyelashes. It will work wonders.

you need to get a waterproof or smudge-proof eyeliner. not all liquid eyeliners are waterproof. read the package. i like Physician's Formula. it works for sensitive skin/contact wearers. your skin just might be oily. use a powder on the eyelids beforehand.

I recommend finding a water proof kohl liner, but for extra protection, use the kohl liner then applay a powder eyeshadow over top of it in the same color. It sets it in, and makes it waterproof!

Lancome kohl waterproof eyeliner in black looks amazing. I'm a varsity swimmer and it looks great for post-swim pictures.
