The more questions you ask, the more you sound like me. I always seem to be the one who tries to be all things to all people. I hardly ever get to say, " Let's do this, or let's go there etc. " Like you said, my plans have to fit in around everyone else's ! I get so mad sometimes, I feel like telling them to just go & leave me home in peace and quiet.

No. I make my own plans and invite those who I'd like to hang out with. If they're sitting around waiting for better options to emerge then too bad for them! They'll miss out on the fun I've got in store!

I can only be treated like a doormat if I allow people to treat me that way.

That's why you do this:

You make your plans, and if they don't like it, tell to bad, since they couldn't be prudent enough to make a decision in a reasinable amount of time.
My daughter has this problem with her friends all the time, so I told her to make the decisions, and to tell her friends to just shut up with the complaints and to come along do as she planned since they couldn't make up their own minds. It worked!!

yes all the time when I started dating my wife we decided we were going to go out one a week. I would pick one place one week she would pick the place the next well she can never make up her mind so now I make the decision every time. Even though we can't stand each other we still go out once a week. I do it so I can get out at least once on one of my days off to go out and have a good time.
