Well since I am NOT a feminist and you called me one. i would be upset. but I have been called worse things. but when someone calls me this and I am NOT one. then YES I would get mad God Bless

I certainly don't. I would like to think that all people should be feminists simply because it denotes equality of all people. If you are not a feminist then you could be a sexist, racist, classist, etc. I like to believe the inherent worth of all people is equal and all people should be treated with dignity and respect. That is what feminism decries and why I have been a practicing feminist for over thirty years.

Some women do — these are the ones who have no idea what it really means to be a feminist. Others, like myself, proudly wear the label.

Most of the Women I know are 'People' first, and then "Feminists", even the politically active ones. Is a Lesbian or a 'woman who wears sensible shoes' a Feminist by definition?
I personally think that They just get mad at the ignorance of others.

Feminist has a definite negative connotation Not all women are like that, so yeah. The only women who would take that as a compliment, are the ball busters!

Some do. They enjoy being female. One time I
went ahead of a women and said to her"ERA all the way" She slappoed me and said "you won't get any tonite"
