see someone for counselling to talk things through, unfortunately a lot of the solution would depend upon what the cause of the depression is. If you are severely depressed I do suggest to find a counsellor to discuss things with. Trust me, it can help a lot.

Kind of depends on the situation or situations that put the person in the state of mind. The problem with depression is that it can be caused by something traumatizing like loosing a close loved one or friend, or due to genetics or a change in the brain, a chemical imbalance. This person should speak to a shrink to make sure they can get the right care, as sometimes talking through things with someone who understands can help a lot or they can prescribe something to correct the imbalance. Just remember, no matter how bad things get, or how bad things are that regardless your actions and reactions affect everyone in your life whether they are still around you right now or not! Things will get better, unfortunately it takes time which is always the crappiest part, but they will! Keep your head up!!

You must first detemine how long you have been feeling this way. Depression is an illness and usually last several weeks or months. It is very important to have a stong support system like family or friends. If non are available then you need good coping skills. Also, how depressed are you? Are you suicdal? Do you have a plan etc. It is always good to talk to some one and get referrals. Remember everyone goes thru it at least once in their life. There are many helplines around the nation that can help you as well. e-mail me if you need some adice or need some guidance.

Talk to a professional. Depression can have many causes, and there are many different ways of treating depression. This can be as 'simple' as an antidepressant medication to talk therapy (or a combination of both) to changes in lifestyle. If antidepressants are a potential option, I highly recommend seeing a psychiatrist to prescribe what best suits you, rather than having your primary care physician describe what is currently most popular. Some people don't like the idea of taking a pill to feel better, but if you are deficient in vitamin C would you feel uncomfortable taking vitamin C supplements? While many antidepressants work in different ways, most help your mind maintain the proper levels of chemicals, and don't directly affect your depression.

Prayer with the deep heart is the best solution
whenever i felt something similar, Namaz is the best solution i found. In your case if you are not Muslim better you go for deep meditation and surrender your self before Almighty God and leave your self completely on God's mercy.
No one in the world is going to live eternally , successful are those who live in this world keeping GOD their centre of life and are ready to accept and face every situation in life bravely and courageously.

Listen to good happy music and also if necessary take the herb St.Johns Wort! If that herb isn't strong enough than
try Hawthorn berries. If that still doesn't help Valerian but this one can make you extremely sleepy!

I would recommend starting to eat better and try to be more interactive with associates. If you know someone that is depressed try to get them involved in activities but don't force them to particpate. You have to make them want to join you in your activies so they can have a good time and let loose. Also another good way to deal with stress is try to get them to talk about it but you have to be careful with this. You have to let them know that you are truly interested in helping them and make them feel comfortable.
