OMG is it true when u go to newyork or hollywood you will see celebrities Sorry but im 14 AND i wanna go to hollywood and newyork city!!!!!!

I live in Hollywood. I see celebrities all the time - but not A-listers. Mostly B- and C- listers. A-listers stay at home or go to places where tourists can't go.

True story: my boyfriend moved in with me earlier this year. He's from San Diego. We were going to Ikea to pick up some things and passed Hollywood Boulevard on our way to the freeway. There were tourists taking pictures of the sidewalk stars on the Walk of Fame. I noticed that Ethan Suplee (link below) from My Name is Earl was walking past the them. I wanted to yell to them: "Hey, idiots, an actual star is walking past you!" My boyfriend and I were having a laugh at their expense and talking about how Ethan is the level of celebrity that I see all the time. Then as we walked into IKEA, Keanu Reeves was standing in the middle of the walkway looking bedraggled and confused. My boyfriend and I started giggling like goofy tourists. We now call that place the Matrix IKEA.

Wait until you're older to go to Hollyweird. It's full of shady people that will take advantage of young girls with stars in their eyes like you.

PS: Leslie is right about the West Hollywood Target. I see TV stars there all the time! Some girl whose face I recognized but name I didn't know was saying something stupid like, "God, things are really cheap here, huh?" I gave her a dirty look. I almost told her to take her snotty butt back to Kitson or Fred Segal where she belonged.

I went to Hollywood last year and you get to see some pretty neat things. I passed by as someone was getting a star on the Hollwood Walk of Fame..we also saw the handprints of the celebrities and at Universal Studios, you go on the backlot tour and see movie sets..very fun and highly recommendable.

if you're in the right place at the right time, you will spot one in either city. funny, but a place where i've had the most consistent sightings is Target in West Hollywood. i'm not recommending you go there. just thought it would be fun to share.

You can see them in both New York and Hollywood.....Actually, oddly enough, over here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada too! They do a lot of movie shoots here! (more then people think or even realize!)

you have a better chance of seeing celebrities in hollywood than new york. but.... you'll have much more fun in NY. city so great they named it new york, new york!!!!
