Just a couple songs that come to mind are Linkin Parks 'Session', the end of the song is that electronic screeching. In Megalomanics 'Megalomaniac', the beginning is just a stream of wierdness. In Audioslaves 'Cochise' the beginning. In Three Day's Grace 'Burn' at the beginning. I love all these bands but it just kinda bugs me that there are these things added to the beginning and end of great songs that either kinda annoy you in the beginning or leave a bad taste at the end. I'm a musician so whenever I think of songs, I want to think that every moment is adding to the greatness of the song. Just wondering what others think. Peace!

Yes, but not as much as delaying tracks on their CDs so you hear nothingness for 10-20 minutes before the hidden track kicks in (Tool, The Von Bondies and Devics have done this). Then I hate talking, goofing around right in the middle of the recording (Heart did that).

Yeah, I hate when there's stuff at the beginning or the end that's irrelevant to the song- I know what you mean.

Yep. Its like when you want to buy this top, but then you see that the designer has put really ugly buttons on it.
It takes away from its beauty
