My weedeater blower doesn't start when I pull the cord. How can I find out why and how do I fix it.

Check the compression, you can do this by putting your finger in the sparkplug hole and pulling the starter rope. It should try to lift your finger off the hole. If it is a newer blower it is made by the same company that makes Poulon and the rings and cylinders wear out quickly. If you can't replace the rings yourself I would look for a different brand that is not made by this company. You have to be careful because as an example Sears sells one made by poulan and they call it a craftsman.

It is probably the air filter. Take it out and clean or replace it. You can probably also use a new spark plug. Those two items will fix nearly all problems with weedeaters and blowers.

3 things are needed to make a combustion engine run. Air, gas and a spark and checking the latter is usually the culprit provided you have the Run-Stop switch in Run.
