Dachshunds in general are very hard headed.

I have three smooth coated doxies. I love them soooo much and everyone who has ever had a dachshund that I know has loved them as well. There is supposedly a SLIGHT difference between the temperment of the smooth, wire, and long haired dachshunds, however, from what I've read, the wire haired have probably the best temperment. You won't regret a dachshund! They are a little stubborn, but loving and loyal til the end!

Yes I have two And they are soo sweet! They will cuddle up to you in the winter and keep you warm . My kids love them! They are good with other animals and kids . If you are looking to get one I would!!!
