How could they write so many seasons of great shows and screw this one up?

I thought the series finale tonight was terrible. I've been watching since the 1st episode and the series ended with a wimper. These last 9 episodes were lame, it was almost like some one other than David Chase took over the show.

I actually am not that big of a soprano's fan.. but, my mother wanted me to watch it with her and my brother.. (and his girlfriend).. I was watching the time through the entire thing.. at 45 minutes STILL nothing had happened.. NOTHING.. then one person is killed, and there was only like 5 minutes left. when the black screen hit I cracked up.. everyone else was just ticked off.. all that time showing the parallel parking issue.. and NOTHING.. lol but, after what HBO did with Carnivale I was not surprised.. they seem to be big on the pathetic endings...

Totally agree!
WTF??? We too blamed the darn cable company -- we were sure it was our cable, it cuts out at these times, so we switched to the non-HD channel and same thing, or did we miss something? Watched the later viewing.
The last season was VERY disappointing!

they did get me with the black screen. i honestly thought my cable went out. i was ready to call comcast and lay into them big time. what a worthless ending

on the top they had my heart pounding outta my chest, that dude that walked into the bathing room...i assumed he became gonna whack all of them. yet then desirable as Meadow walked in....incredibly no longer something! basically backness! WTF!!!???
