I miss something, what happened to Paris and Nicole fighting last season, to being best friends again??

I think Paris called Nicole to wish her a happy b-day and they met in a restaurant..and discussed how stupid it was to be fighting but they never said what really started the fight. I think Paris was the one who gave in and made the attempt to be friends again.And then they were friends again. But I just think think the show is so lame because you can only act like a complete idiot for so long and then it just gets old.

"friend" is a word used very loosely in hollywood. basically for nicole, her best friend is her drug dealer, samantha ronson.
