Some women know they don't want to mothers just like some men know they don't want to be fathers. It's not true to say all men feel this way, my husband couldn't wait to be a father and is a great one!

Well it depends on the guy. Most guys at a young age dont like the thought of jumping right into being a father for the obvious reason, but that doesnt mean that down the road they dont want to be. Its just like women some cant wait to be mothers and others dont want to have kids. It just depends on the person.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "fathers." Biologically speaking, the main goal of any organism is to live long enough to reproduce so that you can pass on your genes and the species can survive. So really, all men should have the urge to reproduce. Now, to actually stick around and take care of the offspring can be a different story, which is what you might mean by a "father." In that case, there are men who want to raise children and those who don't, no real set rule for that.

I don't think that is true at all. I know plenty of men including my husband (who is 23) who is very happy that I am pregnant and can't wait until we have our baby. He has wanted kids for at least the past 3 years but we both knew it wasn;t the right time for us. I think guys are just like girls... some want kids some don't. More girls probably want kids because it's more of a hormonal thing for us (or at any rate more girl admit it because guys are supposed to be tough etc)

I think that there are some guys who do not want to be fathers. But not all. I know several men who do not have kids and look forward to getting married and having them. I used to think that it was only guys who do not want kids but i recently met some females who do not want them. So the answer is There are both men and women who want kids and men and women who do not want kids.

There are absolutely exceptions to this. My husband loves being a father, and really wanted to be one.

whoever told you that is very wrong. How can you categorize people so generally anyway? My b/f and i have a baby and he is the proudest man in the world right now. Not only that but he talks to a lot of other men about how proud he is and they all tell him they remember how proud they were. Men and women come up and look at my baby and play with him. People of all different sexes and races LOVE babies.

i would say that for most guys it is true until they have a child. my husband wasnt really keen on being a father at first but he was only 19 then. now all he wants is to get pregnant again.
i also know of guys who get girls pregnant and split because they dont want kids
some guys want kids some dont just like women

Its not that guys don't want to be fathers, like with me, i don't want to be a father now because i have ambitions of my future and they would be harder if not impossible with a child and its mother. There's also the fear of commitment. I can barley support myself now, let alone 2 other people.
