i could be way off but i think it goes like:

log_x(2) + log_x(3) = 5
(adding log's with same base you can multiply the #'s)
log_x(2*3) = 5

log_x(6) = 5
(change forms)
x^5 = 6

x= 5'root'6

"log" means log base x in the following:-
log 2 + log 3 = 5
log 6 = 5
x^(5) = 6
x = 6^(1/5)
x = 1.43

log(x)2 + log(x)3 = 5
log(x)(2 * 3) = 5
log(x)6 = 5
x^5 = 6
x = 5thrt(6)
