Of course I would (if it was TRULY life or death). I'm not sure you could even resist the survival instinct to enable yourself to make a decision. Sure, it's REALLY easy to say you wouldn't do it right now. Try to consider that your thoughts will be overridden by instinct if you are facing imminent death.

I guess these people never read the book/seen the movie about the plane crash where people had to resort to canabalism to survive. Actually, I'd rather sacrifice my ex before my pets, but that's another story
