I was wondering if at the age of 18, you can get a gun permit. I live in PA and would like one. Are there restrictions? I hope not becasue I am a grown man now!

not in most states. you can buy rifles and shot guns but not hand guns. the politicians took away your 2nd amendment right and your right to drink, but notice they can still send you off to war.....

In Michigan, yes you need a gun permit. But in PA,18-yr-olds can have a gun, but here's the PA law on guns. I don't know if it's current:

In the state of PA, it is legal to purchase/possess firearms if you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, it is illegal for a minor to possess a handgun.

Are you talking about a pistol permit? In my state you have to be 21 for a pistol permit but you can buy shotguns and rifles at 18. Im in NC
