An airline and pump is the solution he needs. Of course, that arrangement can only be very temporary. If at all possible get him into a larger container over night and either get a tank for him or trade him in at the pet shop tomorrow.

It is called piping. There isn't enough oxygen in the vase however he will surface to get what he needs.
Dumping an air line intothe vase is not going to solve anything. Dissolved oxygen does not come from bubbles and an air line. Only movement of water against air can do this. Try using a cup and dipping the water out of the vase and pouring it back into the vace or use a turkey baster. This will help. Also, the water temps need to be cool below 70.
Also remember to use dechlor water. If you are really worried about him and are not sure yet what to do with him, you can always put him in the frig. This will slow his body down and start him on the hybernation process. Don't feed him for 3 days prior to doing this and don't feed him once you put him in the frig. he is going to need a bigger home.

Simply, he is suffocating. Since your vase is absent of any kind of water movement (which would create a gas exchange with atmospheric oxygen) and probably an air pump the body of water has had all it's oxygen levels depleted by the fish.
Or it could be that the amount of ammonia that the goldfish as secreted in such a tiny body of water could be damaging it's gills.
No matter, a vase is no container for a goldfish.

He is suffocating to death. You cannot put a goldfish in a vase! Goldfish need a lot of space and they need a lot of air exchange on the top of their tank. They also need a filter introducing more air and cleaning their water. I hope he is not already dead. My guess is that your other tank is too small also, and that is why he is beign aggressive. I hope you didn't kill the poor fish.

do you have H2O supply in the vase??
Did you use tap water? there are chemicals in tap water that will kill fish. I have 2 goldfish I use product called bowl buddies. It makes the tap water safe removes the chlorine, chloramine and heavy metal and Naturally protects the fishes slime coat. Very inexpensive at walmart under 2 bucks.
good luck

He needs air. You can split a line from your air hose in your current tank and give him some air, or use the air hose to put air in both by trading off every 15 minutes or so.
