There's a few things.... RAM, HD, and probably CD-drive... that's about it.

well good luck with that. macs are not good for working on the hardware. i know ATI makes mac video cards, you can buy ram for them, and i would assume changing out the cpu would be like any other computer. The biggest thing is that it is a laptop. ive seen plenty of people take apart their laptop and then its never the same after that. its risky business. i know its damn near impossible to build your own mac machine, so i would assume its not that easy to upgrade them either.

Just by adding more ramm. Getting a better cd/dvd or hd wuold not really increase its usefulness. ALL notebooks are hard to upgrade and a mac is even harder than your average notebook. It would be cheaper to buy a new unit than to upgrade
