the best money you can spend on it,would be a good air intake system on it,and also a performance chip for the computer,after that you can also modify the exhaust some on it,but you don't want to release all the back pressure from it,these cars need some back pressure to actually help them to run right,release too much of it and it wont run as good as it does right now,good luck with it.

Ram air is about the best you can do cheap, and that is if the vehicle lasts that long, cavaliers are notorious pieces of junk, the automatic transmissions are especially horrible and unreliable. Your best bet would be to get a real car while it is running, sorry to inform you of the fact but better to find out now while you can sell it. When it falls apart like I know it will you will be lucky to get a hundred dollars for it from the junk yard regardless of how good it looks. Have a nice day!

Get a low hp NO2 kit designed for that vehicle. The O2 sensors and fuel system can keep up with the demand that way and no added fuel lines or gauges needed. And no burnt pistons. Just dont get greedy on the power, stay with the lowest hp kit avail. That way, when normal driving, you have gas mileage and reliability, but have the kick when needed.

The simplest and the cheapest is (a) short air intake (b) exhaust headers (pipes).
===
The reason is that factory intake is so restrictive that aftermarket will make some big changes (when considering the price). The same with exhaust but not as much.

The only problems is that your car will get louder. But the good news is that it is only louder if you rev high - and when you do it sounds nice.
===
Get kits specifically designed for your car, they will bolt on easier.

put some lightning stickers on there, or some nice graphics. then buy a big racing wing. 22 chrome spinners. put honda emblems on it and a civic emblem on the back. then buy a huge acura sign and put it across your windshield. also don't forget to buy a nos sticker for your window too so people will think you have it. and don't forget to buy a huge huge exhaust in ebay!!
